Haha!! I hate waiting too! Your philosophy is similar to mine. I think whoever had the time to come up with all these insane math formulas and all this other crap need to be shot if they aren't already dead! I'm a 5th year math major and I'm only in pre-cal....ahhhh!! What was I thinking! Anywho, I was bummed when that scene was filmed that DK wasn't there. It made sense that since they were filming at 'Cal Sci' that DK be there, but no. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE diane, rob and peter...I just wanna actually see DK in action!

Also, I may be way off, but was the scene with the bomb in the bin filmed at the same building as the opening shootout scene from UP?

Yes, that photo was taken at Caltech during the filming of Protest.
It was taken on the same day that we shot all the other scenes at Caltech. So if someone was there that day and didn't see David ... it's only because they didn't hang out long enough!

Ok, I've got a pretty silly question, but the picture of David reminded me of it...the script. it's pink. Do they change depending on whose it is, or is it just a fluke (probably is...i overthink everything), or it it DK's personal preference (JK JK)?

Seriously, though. Script colors can change depending on what stage the script is in. White, pink, blue, yellow, green... different revisions demand different colors so that everyone knows, literally, that they're working off the "same page" (the up-to-date one).
Oh, and that underwear thing? Rumor has it that he special-orders the pink boxer-briefs from Italy... *ducks*

I KNEW it was to match his underwear!!!
Ok..."what stage?" I know nothing of theater, TV, etc. Explain please?
Oh, Italy, is it?

Changes are supplied as colored pages which people involved in production insert in their script, replacing or adding to the pages already there. Since writing often goes on even during production itself, most real shooting scripts are a rainbow of gold, pink, blue, green and other colors.
The order in which colored pages (often referred to as 'pink pages' whatever color they are) are introduced into the script is rigidly fixed for a particular production."

Oh, so that's how it works. I guess there haven't been any changes...
